It depends on your child's age today. Mother-Toddler starts at 9 months, Playgroup is for about 1.5 to 2.5 years, Nursery 2.5 to 3.5, Junior KG (LKG) 3.5 to 4.5 and Senior KG (UKG) 4.5 to 5.5. We confirm the right stage with you using your child's date of birth and the school-year cut-off.

We share the current fee sheet in writing, so you see the full cost for your child's stage and year, not an old figure from a directory. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 98333 90451 or on the fees and timings page.

Mother-Toddler runs on Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 to 10:00 am. Playgroup runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 to 10:00 am. Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG run Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 12 noon. Daycare runs Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 4:30 pm.

We are at 13 Tejpal Gokuldas Auditorium, N S Patkar Marg, Grant Road, a few minutes from Kemps Corner. There is one campus.

Many two-year-olds are, if the start is gentle. In Playgroup, children settle with familiar adults, songs, sensory play and the same routine every day, and the goodbye at the door gets a little shorter each week. A visit is the easiest way to see how your child takes to the room.

Gently. An adult greets your child at eye level and by name, and we agree a settling plan with you and tell you how the morning went.

Yes, in the way young children learn best: shared reading, stories, songs, sound games, drawing, sorting, patterns and counting real things. The aim is solid readiness for Class 1, without early pressure.

No. Children lead a lot of their play, but a teacher is always close by with a purpose in mind: adding a new word, asking a question or taking the idea one step further.

No tests and no ranks. Teachers watch children in everyday moments, keep notes and samples of their work, and tell you in plain words how your child is growing and what comes next.

We talk with you regularly, share what we notice in plain language, and suggest simple things to try at home, such as reading together and talking about the day. No homework busywork.

Children grow at different speeds. If we notice something, we talk with you early, support your child in the ordinary classroom where we can, and avoid labels. If a closer look is needed, we explain the next step clearly and stay alongside you.

Very little. Children learn patterns, sequencing and problem-solving with beads, blocks, stories and movement games first. Real objects and people come before devices.

Not only. We take what works from several approaches: independence and prepared rooms from Montessori, projects and documenting children's work from Reggio, and plan-do-review from HighScope, all within India's guidance for the early years (NCF-FS).

It is our motto since 1953. Children learn through stories, songs, movement, art, conversation and hands-on activity, so play is how they learn, not a break from learning.

Yes, new from this year. Daycare runs Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 4:30 pm. Children play, eat the lunch sent from home, rest and sleep with familiar NAS adults until they are collected. NAS does not serve meals.

Mrs. Hutoxi Boman is the principal. The school was founded on 3 September 1953 by Mrs. Dolat Hoshang Doongaji, as one of the first Montessori-based schools in South Bombay.

No. Activity High School's own history says it began as a secondary section of New Activity School in 1967. Today we are a preschool for children from 9 months to about 5.5 years.
