A letter to the families who visit us.

I am glad you are here. When you choose a first school, you are choosing the adults who will hold your child's first school memories. I would like you to meet ours.

What I promise you

Three things we will always do.

These are the promises I hold our team to, every morning.

We protect the early years.

Your child will have time to move, play, hear stories and make friends before anyone asks them to sit still for long.

We show you what we see.

Our teachers watch, take notes and keep your child's work, so we can tell you how they are growing. We do not test or rank young children.

We talk with you plainly.

If you are unsure about settling, readiness or anything else, come and talk to me or to your child's teacher. Your questions are welcome here.

Attention

Our adults stay calm and close, so children feel safe enough to try.

Clarity

You should understand how we think, not only what the timetable says.

Continuity
